Fano Maohi's Tahiti Tamure Heiva took place Saturday, August 16, 2008 at Hillcrest High School in Salt Lake City, Utah. Participating groups included an exhibition of Tongan group Mohe Kono Kono and Fano Maohi both of Salt Lake City. Competing groups included Malialole (Salt Lake City, Utah), Voice of Polynesia (Provo, Utah) and Kei Alaha of Diamond Bar, California.
